What You Should Know About San Francisco

When I moved to San Francisco after living in a small town I was surprised and shocked by many things which I wished I knew before. I adapted though and would love sharing some with you which I hope you will find helpful. When you are used to warm temperatures you will be shocked by the coolness in temperature quite early in the afternoon around four o clock. This is a tip that you should dress warmer at night when you are used to warmth until ten in the evening.

If you love dogs you will love San Francisco for certain as it is one of the most dog friendly cities I have ever seen. You will find a myriad of parks which I will mention later to you and even hotels and bars that is dog friendly.
You will notice that it is a city filled with crack heads, beggars and homeless people. That is the bad and ugly side which I thought I should mention even though it remains a city I have never been sorry to have made my home. You will be hit up for money when you go to and from work if you work in Union Square like I do or around Market Street and the Civic Centre. Nothing dangerous though as they are very armless, but I still recommend you avoid it as well as Tenderloin at night.

Sky high cost of living is something else to adapt to when you move to San Francisco with high rental prices and overall will you find everything else like food and consumables extraordinary costly. Thus before you accept a job make sure you get a higher salary than your previous job in a quiet and inexpensive little town. Something else I must tell you is that there is always something great and cool happening and it’s a city filled with extraordinary views.
